Aside from an AMAZING time, I'm happy to give you the general lowdown of what happens during your shoot. Please keep in mind this information is relevant for ALL shoots, but any specifics for specialty shoots are further below
Prior to our session,
we will go through the process of choosing your wardrobe and makeup. I have a full wardrobe available in studio and I am constantly on the look-out for new and exciting pieces from amazing designers. The surveys found on the client page will help us make sure we have the products and wardrobe ready to go for you on the day of your shoot. No matter what shoot you've booked, you will always have final say on what you wear and what your makeup will look like.
Our looks are meticulously chosen and planned, so it can take up to 1 1/2 - 2 hours to get you photo ready. On average, our sessions last about 3 hours total including hair and makeup services. This does mean that arriving on time is critical. Espcially if you are coming out of town, you are always welcome to arrive about 15 minutes early just to make sure we can get right to work on time.
What Should You Bring?
Depending on the session you've booked, you will know if you need to bring your own wardrobe, or if we are providing hair & makeup services for you.
If you've booked a shoot with wardrobe, all we will need you to bring are a pair of shoes. Depending on your style, I usually recommend nude or black heels, but this may change depending on the look you're going for.
If you have booked a session that includes hair and makeup, please bring or wear your foundation to the shoot. This is so that we are able to accurately match to your preferred shade. If you do not wear foundation, you don't need to bring any with you. We will take care of the rest!
Any materials necessary for a session that does not include our wardrobe or hair and makeup services will need to be provided by you. I am still available to consult with you during the planning stages if you'd like to hear some of my ideas!
When Will You Get The Photos?
We take a lot of behind-the-scenes shots and videos especially during the preparation stages. Any BTS shots will be sent to you same day for your approval prior to posting.
Your first image will be sent you approximately 1 week after our shoot. This may take up to 10 business days, but the average is 1 week. You can expect your entire set in about 5-7 weeks.
*Note: If you would like to have your session published, it is recommended you do NOT post the actual images. Most magazines will not publish shoots that have already been posted or shared online.
